Plot Summary
Bill Fraser (Anthony Steel) is a British racing driver hired by a shady businessman to compete in the Italian Mille Miglia road race. But the job comes with strings: Fraser is expected to help smuggle industrial secrets across borders under the guise of racing.
As Fraser becomes entangled with Francesca (Odile Versois), the wife of a rival driver, and begins to question the motives of his employer, the stakes rise.
