Samson vs the Vampire Women (1962)

Originally titled Santo vs. las Mujeres Vampiro, this Mexican cult classic directed by Alfonso Corona Blake is a gloriously campy blend of superhero action, horror, and wrestling spectacle. It stars the legendary masked luchador Santo (credited as Samson in English-language releases), who battles a coven of seductive vampire women bent on fulfilling a dark prophecy.

Plot Summary
After 200 years of slumber, the vampire queen Zorina and her undead priestesses awaken to find a successor who will marry Lucifer himself. Their target: Diana Orlof, the granddaughter of a woman who once escaped their grasp. As Diana’s 21st birthday approaches, the vampires begin their hunt—hypnotizing, transforming, and terrorizing.

Her father, Professor Orlof, enlists the help of Santo, the masked wrestler and folk hero, to protect her. Santo battles vampire henchmen, infiltrates crypts, and even fights a werewolf in the ring. The film culminates in a fiery showdown between good and evil, with Santo delivering justice in his signature cape and convertible.
