Terror-Creatures from the Grave (1965)

Originally titled 5 tombe per un medium, Terror-Creatures from the Grave is a moody Italian-American horror film directed by Massimo Pupillo, though producer Ralph Zucker was credited as director in the U.S. release—a decision Pupillo made because he reportedly “didn’t care about the film” and wanted to distance himself from it. The film stars Barbara Steele, a queen of Euro-horror, whose icy presence anchors this eerie tale of revenge from beyond the grave.

Plot Summary
An attorney arrives at a remote castle to settle the estate of its recently deceased owner. But the widow and daughter claim the man could summon the souls of plague victims, and that his spirit still roams the castle. Soon, townspeople begin dying in gruesome ways, seemingly at the hands of these vengeful undead. As the mystery deepens, the castle becomes a haunted trap where the sins of the past refuse to stay buried.
