Plot Overview
In a bid to escape a checkered past, notorious gunfighter John Vance, alias “Ringo” (William Elliott), flees across the Utah border after being forced into a fatal shootout in self-defense. Weary of violence and desperate to hang up his twin six-shooters, Ringo seeks sanctuary in a quiet ranching community, hoping to start a peaceful new chapter.
Instead of peace, Ringo stumbles directly into a bloody range war. Ruthless cattle baron Wade Proctor (Grant Withers) is waging a campaign of intimidation to drive small-time homesteaders off their land and seize full control of the valley. Though Ringo initially tries to stay neutral, he cannot turn a blind eye when Proctor’s mercenary henchmen turn their sights on vulnerable local ranchers, including the brave Livvy Washington (Adrian Booth) and her brother Glenn (Noah Beery Jr.). Realizing that law and order have completely broken down, the reluctant gunman straps his holsters back on to unite the desperate homesteaders and lead a fierce stand against Proctor’s ruthless empire.
